This is a special note of thanks to all members of the Manasquan Beach Staff
and in particular the Manasquan Lifeguards for their assistance in making the
Atlantic BodySurfing Club's 2006 Tournament a great success. Their vigilance
during the bigger than normal swells ensured the safety of our contestants.
Our sixth year and we're still going strong!
This is a special note of appreciation and thanks to all the
members of the Manasquan Beach Staff, Noel Hood, the Squan Village Historical
Society, and Mayor and Council of Manasquan for making the Atlantic Bodysurfing
Clubs 2006 Tournament a smashing success. The Club is particularly appreciative
of our officiating team of John Govel, Jim Walsh, Eric Kovats and Liz Ossino
for their hard work during the Tournament. A special note of thanks to Chris
Kovats and his Staff from the Bricktown Outback for their continued support and
sponsorship without which wed be lost. Another note of thanks to Brent Studer
and the Manasquan River Golf Shop for their generosity in providing prizes of
caps, shirts and "designer" flip flops for our contestants. This years prizes
range from New York Giants tickets, Lakewood Blue Claws tickets, movie tickets
and dinners to the Bricktown Outback. A special tip of the hat to the Inlet
Outlet for the fins, George Lus for lunches and LuLus for a special gift
certificate. Many thanks to Bob Duerr and the Surfriders Association for their
continued support in helping us bring good family entertainment in celebration
of Big Sea Day at Manasquan. As always, thanks to our spouses, significant
others and families for their patience and support as we continue to indulge
our childhood yearning for the perfect cut on the perfect wave.
